"True growth is found in the journey, not the arrival"

Founded on Resilience

Over 30 years ago Darrel started a journey as a student with physical disability. No-one told him he couldn't do it, only that no-one had done it.

Five years later he was a black belt equal to his able bodied peers.

Since then Darrel has gone on become the first recorded Australian lower limb amputee  to achieve the rank of 4th Dan Black Belt with the World Taekwondo Federation.

He has continued to teach students of all abilities. Students from all corners of the globe. He has share his knowledge, philosophy and experience across national programs, universities, disability community programs and with the next generation of disability sports leaders and martial artists alike.

Darrel's experience is unique and spans all ages, and multiple impairments classes.
